Hi strawberry8, I notice you have a rain shower set. Is it running off your instant water heater? I checked with sim siang choon and they told me these rain showers can't be installed with instant water heaters as there's not enough water pressure.

The decal - my MIL's relative got from Malaysia...dont know where.

I 'stole' the idea of re-using cutout solid top from fftw :P

But you need to consider if the colour of solid top matches that of the toilet wall tiles.

Mine is white for both so ok.

innovative! how is the solid top attached to the wall? is there any brackets underneath?

PS: can i ask ur talented daughter to help draw some abstract paintings for my living/bedrooms?

The solid top in the kitchen toilet was inserted in after my contractor did major cutting of the wall tile.

That was a bad move as we had already moved in and the cutting created a bad mess.

Hence, for my master toilet, he bought adjustable brackets from hardware store and it was much faster with far less mess.

Pai sei, my girl's drawing is only good in our eyes...cannot go 'public'....have to turn you down....

Dear all

If you refer to my reno-blog in renotalk:

http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=32442

I have made my curtains using rings.

They are easy to pull, easy on the wallet and beautiful to look at => my verdict after 6 months using it.

I have brought this rings curtain system to Singapore.

Please visit my website CURTAIN HAVEN for more details:

http://sites.google.com/site/curtainhaven/

Forummers are most welcome to visit my home to feel the curtains before buying.

Hope to have your strong support !

Thanks for reading my post.

Pls introduce my website to all your relatives, friends, colleagues, etc.

Dear all

I received many PMs asking abt my shower screen.

Just to clarify. I did NOT get my shower screen from doctordoors.com.sg.

I happened to do a price comparison between my contractor vs doctordoors and realized my contractor quoted me double of what doctordoors quoted.

When I told my contractor, he matched doctordoors price.

I was happy as I do not need to deal with another vendor in an already-complicated reno process.

the price given by doctordoors is nett, no hidden costs.

I also received many queries reg my aluminium composite panel - www.dama.com.sg

Hope this helps.
