- wiring/piping

- polish living room floor

- bedroom furniture probably buy off the shelf

budget $25-$35k

I have recently asked Ikea (Tampines) in May10.

Currently they only do kitchen designs only so a full house reno is not possible. Unless you engage a contractor through them?

Ya, that is what i read about Ikea also, they only do kitchen designs, but not the full house reno. But pricewise i feel engaging a interior firm is cheaper

I thought Ikea only did kitchen cabinet?

My ex-colleague did engage them for his condo kitchen cabinet 3 yrs back.

His feedback.. the contractor don't bother, anyhow do.

He complain to Ikea and Ikea sent them down to do the correction until he say OK.

He told me.. the early contractor(use by his friend) was good but don't know why Ikea use another contractor which he was using, workmanship not good.

If the contractor didn't do the job well, tell IKEA. They will deal with the contractor.

If I remember correctly, Ikea give 10 yrs warranty on the kitchen cabinet.

i m starting renovation coming week or so...

hdb 4room

2 x toilet

1 x kitchen

3 x rooms laminate floor

remove windows grill

polish living room marble

2 x room cabinets etc

from my budget S$20-25k...now $30k..

throw in accessories/lightning/misc S$10k..

c how it goes...
