I have bought a condo that I would like to paint as well as install built-in wardrobe and kitchen.

Now, should I paint the walls first or install the built-ins first?

Hope to hear your valued opinions soon.

Thank you.

Hi,

You should install the cabinet and other carpentry works 1st before you paint.

The reason is that the paint works will always be the last finishing component, after all the "dirty" works finished

Should u have any doubts, email me at ***@yahoo.com.sg

Hi,

Just paint it so that there will be no rust signs. Once4 there will be rust signs it will become very hard to get rid of that. Install all the furniture requirements and after that paint that.

Good Luck.

I thought should install everything and painting is the last? If you paint those parts that are covered by cabinet, then it is still not nice if you remove these cabinet one day cos these cabinet will leave mark on those walls....just my opinion.
