Dear All,

I am a newbie here and have been a passive observer for some weeks now. I am a first-time buyer and am purchasing a small condo for my own stay.

Recently got a quote from a friend's contractor and would appreciate if you guys (and girls) with more experience could provide some feedback\comments on this quote.

1 Living & Dining:

a Supply and install TV panel and feature wall in the Living room / wall mount TV, Dim: 10.5F/T $3,360.00

b Supply labour and tools for cleaning and polishing $1,100.00

c Supply labour to install false ceiling (only along the side) / L bracket for living room with some lights $1,500.00

d Supply and install:

i) Suspended TV console

ii) Bookshelves / cabinets below window

ii) Shoe Cabinet, Dim: 1100 $1,000.00

2 Balcony

a Supply and install grill on one side (not the front) facing the association $550.00

3 Kitchen

a Hacking maid's toilet and extending kitchen counter to the toilet area $1,200.00 (subject to approval, endorse by PE $850)

b Hacking small wal behind washing machine area and removing sliding door

c Supply and install grill at the small opening next to the maids toilet $300.00

d To fix the cabinet under the sink / change handles for others (KIV) estimated $500.00

e Supply and install new kitchen cabinet (in the extended area of maids toilet), Dim: 1600 $1,400.00

4 Master Bedroom

a Supply labour and tools to polish parquet $400.00

b Supply and install partition wall to conceal the samll recess behind the bed area $650.00

5 Common Room

a Supply labour and tools to polish parquet $400.00

b Hacking of wall and install door to common toilet $1,600.00

c Supply and install bookshelf against angular wall, Dim: 3000 $2,500.00

6 Toilets

a Supply labour to do chemical washing $400.00

b Supply labour to install rain shower head (item to be provide by owner) $250.00

1. Price subject to 7% GST

2. Validity : 30 days from date hereof

3. Terms of payment : 50% Deposit upon confirmation, 50% Balance upon completion of works
