hush_girl 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2010 Hi David, want to chk with you. We were very happy with the painting and all last night(viewing them using torch lights) but we jz came back from the house and were left puzzled by a few things. At the first few quotations, before our meeting with your foreman, you state a few plaster here and there to cover the ugly parts of the house. Bt thn during our meeting with your foreman, he said that it's better to get the whole house plastered and that he will plaster the ceiling to cover the groove lines in every room of the house. Because of this, i decided to get you to plaster the whole house. So we were puzzled as to why we still have the grooves in the ceiling of every room. I didnt say anytin d last time cause i dont know what's happening at all for the reno. And thought that maybe you will finish them up when you come back from the hospital. So now i just want to know, is the plaster job not intended for the ceiling? Cause i paid for that fter your foreman told you that it will look nicer if i had that part plastered. Another thing would be the lighting and fan point in the living room. After the electrician left i asked where the lighting points would be, and you said should be where the 2grooves are and we'll be following the previous owner's lighting and fan point. But we were dissapointed to see that the positions were different than what we discussed about. The reason why we are unhappy is because there are so many lines on the ceiling now. And that point brought us back to the fact that the lines wasnt plastered smooth at all! On another note, we cant close the mbr's door. We cant even push forcefully as the paint might come off. This reno is taking longer and longer to complete. And i cant help but feel frustrated.
