Defect Found Before 1st Appointment

Recommended Posts

I am the buyer and when I visited my future unit lately after the 1st appointment, found out that the HDB inspection marked a leakage at my unit.

Is my seller suppose to get the defect repairs before handing over the unit to me? Or I'll need to pay HDB to get it repair after the unit is handing over to me?

So, the HDB officer will come and inspect the defect again before proceed to the 2nd appointment. Am I right?

Yes. Base on my understanding, the HDB officer will come and check and make sure the issue was address, before they can close the file and proceed to 2nd appointment.

You can check with your HDB officer for status.
