Toilet photos not ready as 1 tile was cracked when my plumber drilled into it... Kelvin said to change it later, so I shall leave bathroom pics to the last..

These are my room & kitchen doors.. funny enough, we had wanted to paint orange for a contrast against my wood furnitures and white walls..BUT when we saw the wood grains on these naytoh wood, we simply changed our minds! Good thing we were there before the door painter came!! :P

Chengai Wood Decking from Hon Nam Lee. Dealing directly with them saved me 50% of the cost usually quoted!

WoodDecking.jpg

The end product.. very pleased with it.. feels so good to walk on it bare-footed. Good for dissipating some of the heat from the afternoon sun too.. Oh by the way, I learned that Chengai wood after few months of exposure to sun and perhaps water would turn 'black' or dark brown, like those you see outdoor..

Now comes the wardrobe. I've chosen the modular wood plank over the pole as I dont like the idea of clothes cant stack up or 'falling off' the poles.. Pardon my ignorance, somehow dont feel quite secured..

Wardrobeinterior.jpg

This is the mechanism that holds the vertical planks to the wall, which is then held by the horizontal planks. Still

puzzled about how this works.. :dunno:

The exterior look..

Thanks Fifteenmay!

Missed this out earlier.. Some comments on my invisible grille. Am proud to say that this is developed locally by Legate, homegrown IP! I had thought its some German/Japan-imported stuff at first! The whole grille is made up of 1 long 44-strands woven wire protected by a plastic casing on the outside. The wire is tighten with a bolt on both sides to create optimum tension. Can hold up to 70kg hung on it. Comes with warranty somemore! (cant remember if its 1yr or 3yrs)

Simply wonderful! I came to understand that there's a foreign competitor with no office in Spore quoting a lower rate. However, do be cautious of aftersales service (or lack of) of such company though..

Finally, the bathroom doors. Chose the slide and swing type (akas PD door) to avoid the usual bi-fold tracks which tend to trap dirt. See mechanism at http://www.swingslide.com.sg

Agree.. I did ask Legate about the need for HDB license and they said no need cos it will be installed inside my house as it simply replaced the usual window grille left behind by the ex owner..

Most welcome! We learn from each other!! :D

Customized items from Pagoda Teak, May was very helpful and accomodating. Except for a few little imperfections which are not very obvious, overall, I'm very happy with the items. Very reasonable price too! :) :

Air-inspired divider :P

Love the wood grains and rich colour! :paint:

MBR Bathroom. Simply love the vanity top from AOS-bathroom.com along Macpherson Road!Only $599 and come with soft closing hinges! Their service is very good too! When we spotted a crack line on 1 of the doors, the sales person, Calvin, immediately told us to bring it back for exchange. Oh yes, toilet bowl also from AOS.. Mirror from Ikea.

MBRbathroom.jpg

Our shower screen with swing door would be errected right on the curb next to the vanity top. Love my mosaics.. :good:

What brand is your one-piece WC? And how much did AOS charge you.
