Went back to the flat a few days later after the workers fixed up more stuff in the kitchen and bathrooms. We also wanted to take some more pictures before the furniture started arriving.

Common shower has no glass panel. Won't be showering here often, so a screen will suffice.

Big LG fridge

LG front-load washing machine and Electrolux dryer

Samsung 46-inch LED TV from Gain City warehouse sale... I was told it was a display set, but it is totally mint and cost half the normal price.

Some mishaps during curtain rails installation. I engaged a separate contractor for the curtains, but Peter was kind enough to ask his workers to help us patch up the flaws. Thumbs up for him!

There seemed to be some water leak from above in the common bathroom. But it was transient and never happened again in the coming months. Even HDB or Peter didn't know what caused it. Weird.

These pictures were taken over the above three days, after we have moved in. This is the last series of pictures for my t-Blog. Hope you enjoyed the journey as much as we did.

Needless to say, I was very delighted with the work done by Peter. He really went the extra mile to make sure that I was comfortable with everything. Even months later, he still calls to check if things are okay. Fortunately, everything is holding up and the credit goes to him and his team.

I heartily recommend Peter Low from Earnest Interior (or wherever he is now). He was more than just an interior designer, but he was a friend who made our new home the way we like it. THANK YOU! :)

Renovation contract - $27,500

Furnishing, fittings, appliances - $20,000

Home sweet home - PRICELESS

nicely done, not minimalist though. :)

ID called this minimalist? :P

@gimz.... I am also wondering how minimal is minimal when in comes to minimalist?

It is... one glance..... straight lines, not many colours, no clutter?

pictures are easier to describe the look. i must declare that im no expert, just that the house gives me a very cosy feel instead of a minimalist feel.
