Not difficult lah.. but because toilet bowl are done by installer.

They don't have expertise in cutting tiles and so forth.

The patch up will turn yellow in no time.

very sian with this type of contractor attitude .

ANSWER:

tiles are 20cm x 20cm white color. easy to find?

Not all tile shops have it as this dimension of tiles is already phase out and don't think anyone want to take in any such tile anymore especially it is plain colour. Not said not possible to find it but maybe your contractor felt that if going 1 by 1 to find it and to change only 1-2pcs only, its may not be worth it at all for the type of profit he earning. As didn't know u using a sub-con to do it or a main-con to do all the rest of your works so not in a position to comment on him.

If I was the contractor, I will let you know beforehand that hacking your old WC, the floor and wall tiles may damage and this will incur in additional cost for u if its happen and u wanted to change it and may not find the same colour or dimension of tiles if its was a very old tiles.
