Hi Wolflet,

The films have not been removed, but i did a search on the goo gone, it seems to be quite a small tube.

i have the whole house to clean up :help:

previously in my parent's place, the film sort of shrinked and there is this sticky stuff at the exposed glass panel area.

basically, we removed the rest of the film with a hairdryer and that helps in removing the film with minimal sticky residue.

then we clean off the existing residue with goo gone.

how to use the hairdryer? heat up a corner, then start peeling. the heat is to sort of soften/melt the glue on the film. and gradually move the hairdryer and slowly work to peel off the entire film.

Mine too, film shrink and sticky glue expose on the glass panel.

By the way, the glue on the rubber seal too! some more got fly trap on the glue.

I got 10 panels, wo..don't wanna spent time removing film, just scrap off the glue.

Okay la, don't see carefully cannot notice the shrink film :)

But I did not remove and change the film.

So, visually its is clean shrink window film.
