What Is Skip Tank Permit? Is This Necessary?

Hi, does anyone know what is a skip tank permit? I have received a quote from a contractor with this item and it cost $140, is this necessary? I intend to renovate my kitchen and wall hacking is included. Hopefully someone can 'enlighten' me...

i believe it is the big tank usually placed below the block to clear away the hacking debris.

i think is the permit for them to put the debris container at your void deck ..... so they can dump all the rubbish there and get someone to tow that away upon completion...

but normally don't have one lei.. i think

i believe its usually included the the package as haulage fees?
