Can share contractor contact?thks

my main con was Edmund Goh from A-decor,

Do bear in mind tt his quote is about 2-3 years old.

Labour charge and material charges may have risen these few years.

So do you diligence and homework, I wish you the best in your renovation and new home. :)

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

Hello peeps,

I will be giving away 1 x white Alpha fan V6 which i bought 3 years ago from
Malaysia. It was used in my living room for about 2 year before i decided
to change to KDK for my baby's "Yao-Lan" height clearance.

Self collect from TPY,
You have to engage your electrician and wall bracket mounts.
It was useable condition prior removal, you may wanna test out before installation.
I will not liable for responsible for issues regarding this fan.

Cheers.

-GIVEN-

itchy fingers brought me back to my once favorite forum.

3 Years passed at the blink of an eye.

And equipments are starting to fail, ie my kitchen dampers which I bought cheaply.
given a choice we would consider saving up more for a better quality ones.

The main thing I would like to share with newly weds and those whom wanted to start a family (with new family member) is this.

Do put some space considerations for your little one for the future.

I have a babyboy whom turned 8 months and starting to climb (all over me) now.

We had saved a room for the littleone and this has turned into a storeroom for his toys, wardrobe, strollers/prams, walker. etc.

So for your consideration in your mbr design,

Do factor space for his (i) changing table (ii)baby cot/playpen

your kitchen table (with plugs) to accomodate

(iii) sterillier (iv)bottle warmer

and for your toliet space to accomodate

(v)baby tub

one thing i appreciate for Ikea's Expedit is that it allows me to toggle the horizontal to vertical configuration.

More to come.

I understand what you mean..

There is a lot of baby stuffs to house: playpen, cots, play yard, rocking horse, building blocks, balls, train set, play doh set, jig saws, books (cloth type, plastic type, board books, etc), clothes, diaper station,..

We have to get creative with storage, and be prudent with the buying. Let go (of stuffs once bb outgrow them) when possible.

Hi dexufto,

i enjoy reading your renovation blog and the interior deco was nice.

I came to the last page of this thread and found it surprising that you even revisit this blog to give "after-reno" comments, which is VERY useful. How many home owners revisit and update or provide feedback on the quality of something they had done to their new home? I find it is more beneficial to learn from someone who RENOVATED and FEEDBACK. Without using a product or service, it's really hard to tell, isnt it?

Btw, can u help me understand what is actually wrong with the kitchen dampers? has it got to do with soft closing thingy?

No, I didn't

You didn't approach your ID regarding the kitchen dampers?

Subsequently I tried to ebay (they use to have them listed) and unfortunately they do not carry the models which I used.
The damper is an additional device that clips onto the latch. The clip broke and couldn't mount onto the latch.

Hi dexufto,

Tried to pm you but you are unable to receive new msg. Hope you are still lurking around :)

I just bought a resale 3i at TPY and am now trying to crack my brain on the 2 mini toilets. Could I have a clearer pic of your toilet?

Thanks in advance.

Hi chiang80,

Go for Grohe/ Handsgrohe.

These amazing German products are still shiny (reat rust free) and silky smooth (handling) as day one.

I had an unfortunate leak in my Grohe rainshower head, but the Excellent service reps from Grohe had them replaced at no charge even after 3years!

They maybe a handful to pay at the intial but the quality and service are worth your bucks!
