I was going to get the Onkyo 608 until i was told about Pioneer 920 which is here! I cannot find much info on 920 since its relatively new in Singapore. In the US, some have used but not much detailed review in terms of performance. Only the features were mentioned. The features are somewhat similiar to Onkyo 608, except for some slight difference (i.e. iphone/ipod compatible, 4vs6 hdmi slots etc) In terms of performance, any bros can advise? ABT is indeed a better chipset but more for video quality (IMHO) & the faroudja chipset is better for audio. Likewise, do your own audition before making any purchases. I read that ABT is better for video, nothing mentioned on Faroudja better on audio. However, i interpreted the article i read (from cnet i think) as saying what vincenzo just did.
