Design Ideas For Small 1 Bedroom Apt

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My Apt just TOP. Size 597 sqft, with a planter box area, and 1 bedroom with a baywindow. There is a huge sliding door separating the bedroom from the living room with only a narrow strip of solid wall to place the TV

Any suggestions on how to maximize the space in the unit? what would a realistic budget be like if I am going for minimal renovation, such as lighting, timberdeck, maybe a mirror to increase size?

hey, there are some ways that you can make a small room bigger. First, allow space in the middle area and make sure no any furniture is on the pathways. Then choose the color of you paint. Try combination of cream color and ice blue. And lastly, the lighting is also important. Make sure there's a natural light coming inside the room. You can also put up a decorative lamp on the side. And another tip, is placing big mirrors on the wall that can create illusion of depth.

hope this helps ;)
