Parquet Flooring

Hi,

I am planning a renovation. Currently, my whole flat except the kitchen is parquet flooring. Considering whether to replace the flooring. I am concerned about future problems especially due to our humid weather here. Can anyone please advise on:

1) Durability

Will the planks pop up after some time?

2) Maintenance and its costs

How often to do vanishing/polishing and how much does it cost

3) Termites

Will there be termites invasion since they are made of wood?
