Remember one thing: Every cause has its effect. Nothing that happen in this world is by chance or luck ! To me, there is no such thing call “luck” it is the result of what I have done in my previous life and so in this life I am harvesting it, it that simple.

So for this life, I am planting my seed for my next life, so if I happen to be reborn again as human, then at least next life I do not have to work so hard again

Retribution happens to everyone. What I do now which is not visible to human, you think I can get away with it, no way, it will haunt me back one day and when that day come I will regret doing it, because behind us there are “someone” taking note of everything we do whether good, bad or neutral.

just to add on, whatever good or bad we do in this lifetime, its effect may NOT necessarily ripen (ie materialise) in this lifetime or even the next. it could be many many lifetimes more before the seeds ripen.

is it true? I believe in the past but now I am skeptical already. Why I say that? My wife is a very kind and considerate person but she always got bully and backstab at work. My ex HOD is nice but got backstab and force to leave company. My nice ex colleagues are good and helpful yet all things are thrown at them.

My new HOD is a backstabber Xiao Ren who don't know anything but flying high. I saw managers who backstab ppl promote every 1-2 years. Colleagues who are very selfish and "Lau kan" doing well and getting appreicated for their effort.

Pls share your experience.

Yeah, went through that many times before. Try to be nice and helpful, in the end I was taken for a ride. Nothing done for them was appreciated and worse still, start gossipping and injecting poison to my superior.

1:26 你 们 遭 灾 难 ， 我 就 发 笑 惊 恐 临 到 你 们 ， 我 必 嗤 笑 。 So in the day of your trouble I will be laughing; I will make sport of your fear;

1:27 惊 恐 临 到 你 们 ， 好 像 狂 风 ， 灾 难 来 到 ， 如 同 暴 风 。 急 难 痛 苦 临 到 你 们 身 上 。 When your fear comes on you like a storm, and your trouble like a rushing wind; when pain and sorrow come on you.

1:28 那 时 ， 你 们 必 呼 求 我 ， 我 却 不 答 应 ， 恳 切 的 寻 找 我 ， 却 寻 不 见 。 Then I will give no answer to their cries; searching for me early, they will not see me:

1:29 因 为 你 们 恨 恶 知 识 ， 不 喜 爱 敬 畏 耶 和 华 ， For they were haters of knowledge, and did not give their hearts to the fear of the Lord:

1:30 不 听 我 的 劝 戒 ， 藐 视 我 一 切 的 责 备 ， They had no desire for my teaching, and my words of protest were as nothing to them.

1:31 所 以 必 吃 自 结 的 果 子 ， 充 满 自 设 的 计 谋 。 So the fruit of their way will be their food, and with the designs of their hearts they will be made full.

1:32 愚 昧 人 背 道 ， 必 杀 己 身 ， 愚 顽 人 安 逸 ， 必 害 己 命 。 For the turning back of the simple from teaching will be the cause of their death, and the peace of the foolish will be their destruction.

1:33 惟 有 听 从 我 的 ， 必 安 然 居 住 ， 得 享 安 静 ， 不 怕 灾 祸 。 But whoever gives ear to me will take his rest safely, living in peace without fear of evil.
