Ici Light & Space Paints - Anyone Used This Range?

My contractor said this range of paints amplifies the rough surfaces and any defects of the walls. it will not give the smooth effect unlike all other paints. Is this true? Any feedback appreciated, thanks!

I have bad experience with this ICI Light and Space paint. Painted it for whole house except kitchen and toilet a few months ago. 2 big problems:

1) peels off easily, even with blue tack!

2) easily scratch with black marks when accidental rub with sth & difficult to remove marks.

Anyone else have these problems? wonder if I can complain to ICI Co?

I did consider Light & Space before, but ID discouraged. Mentioned that touch up is not easy. Cannot just touch up whenever needed. Have to repaint the entire wall so that it will not appear in patches. And need to charge extra $300 on top of whole house paint job. So I dropped the idea lor.

Maybe can try Brilliant White normal paint? Will it help? Anyone did that?
