My friend made use of movers during her shifting hm.. she was charged a dollar each.. but its refundable if she return all the box after the moving..

she was qouted ard 600++ for the movers services.. not inclusive of the $1.00 per box refundable upon returning them back..

Those movers that I used before, charge by no. of furniture items or by no. of lorry trips.

the one i am using now charge per trip ( to and fro ) 280. as my house got no lift and have to climb 4 flight of stairs and walk long cooridoor, they charge me additional 100. FOC 20 boxes. so total 380. i think it is very reasonable and cheap. they will come to yr hse to quote for free. hope it helps

mine charges $280 per trip, 15feet truck, lift level. They said extra charge if no lift. Also I have an upright piano - $80 extra for that. For second location, another $30.

They gave me 20 boxes, I asked for more, they gave again. Don't know got limit to that or not?

Normally they don't charge this way.

They nomally charge per trip in their 14 footer covered truck.
