The contractor is not reachable (went for reservist) and still some Plumbing work, Electrical wiring, Lights installation, Cabinet door installation is pending. Bad bad co ordination by my Reno contractor. Forgave him after knowing the reason for delay. Iz was very responsible and apologized for the delay. ashomech 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2010 for the DIY clock, where u bought the motor and the needle? so special, i'm sure u will remember the time u spent putting it together whenever u check the time. Hi Gals_mama, The needle (or) hands i made out of balsa wood (bought from 'Art friend'). The Motor (or) Wall clock movement is taken from the old wall clock which was in the house left by previous owner. Yeah sure i'll remember the time i spent It gives the sense of satisfaction
ashomech 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2010 I like the changes you made. you've turned a darker house into such a bright one without changing the flooring much even! nice! Hi Pink Peter, Thank you for your comments. I wanted to make the living room with white & Black theme as the flooring is black granite which is in good condition and too good to hack away. But, the wall colors i made a mistake by selecting 'lily white' instead of pure white. Which would have been even brighter.
