Hdb Flat - Can Bury Aircon Drainage Pipe?

My aircon contractor does not allow me to place the aircon drainage pipe below the toilet floor tiles saying it is against HDB rules.

My wetwork contractor says almost everyone buries it.

Pls advise who is right.

Appreciate if you can upload how your aircon drainage pipe looks like in your toilet.

For mine, if I leave it exposed, it runs all around the toilet below it reaches the toilet floor trap

what does "The concealment must be within the floor finishes only" mean ?

In technical terms, concrete slab is the permanent structure of the building. On top of this slab, is where home owners add cement screed / waterproofing / tiles to get their desired design. This top layer is called the floor finish.

Therefore, wad HDB is saying.. as long as u dun go hack off the concrete to the embed the pipe, then it is ok.
