sunnytan31 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 Hi, I am planning to put my washing machine in the toilet and thinking not to build concrete base for Washing Machine, instead customised a stainless platform for Washing Machine. 2 reasons of this idea.. 1) SS plaform, I can customised it higher above ground to prevent water splashing 2) SS plaform is flexible, happy I put WM in toilet, not happy I put in Kitchen area BUT is it practical? Washing machine needs no platform at all, can just "sit' on the floor. 2. Need to consider following for washing machine's location: - Power outlet - Drain hole - Water supply 3. Washing machine is best placed at a location which has above 3 items "next" to WM. Edited June 8, 2010 by bepgof

The thing is I'm placing it inside the bathroom, therefore I guess need a base for the WM. ID suggest to build a concrete base. Above 3 are not an issue to me. =)
Livinstyle 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 toyogo sells those plastic cubes that you can put your fridge or washing machine on it. it comes in a pack of 4. this is a cheap solution, though i'm not sure if it is suitable for all washing machines since some vibrates more than others.
