Stone23 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2010 Hi As for grilles, u can try up www.tayboontat.com Advise you to have more quotation n compare the price & profile material Hi davidquek76, Thank you for your advise. Agreed that I should seek for more quotations and compare the prices. As this quotation is done by sis in law's close relative so I am not sure on the prices that the contractor has quoted me. This is my first house so I am unsure of what to do. No one to seek help thus seeking help from all fellow members here...

Seem like its a peak period now, all IDs and contractors stated that they will reply me within 2 weeks. They have alots of projects on hand currently. Thanks for your suggestion. Really appreciated on that. As for my electrical quote, its jus an estimated quote on the electricity. No breakdown costs. No much discussion on this issue. My contractor mentioned that he will need to view my house before he can provide me with actual qoute. So $2800 is an estimated amount. (Not sure will be more or lesser). Stone23 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2010 $2800 before viewing ? Did you give the specifications to the electrician ? eg number of power points, lighting points, fans etc Never. Not even a single topic on electrical issue. So I am actually quite surprised how the contractor can quote me such amount. Dont know how the contractor calculated!!! He never even ask me the nos. of power points, etc.. Thankfully there is such a forum for us to discuss such issues. To be honest, I dont even know how the electrical breakdown costs is all about until I spend times reading through the forum.
