Hi Veer

Yes, I re-do the aircon piping for the living/dining and rooms since its a 10yr old place.

I have friends staying at the same projects who asked me to change the doors as the doors had problems closing at times.

but then didnt you have to hack the walls and all? how much did u spend on the piping?

Hi Veer

I changed the aircon piping but not the drainage pipe that is buried under the flooring. Only need to hack the false ceiling portion and they patch back.

I changed the aircons at my place, paid $3900 for the 2+1 aircon with concealed piping works.

Had some crops-up in between which we are trying to solve.. the kitchen tiles are discoloured and we had to replaced them so that there is a consistency in the shades.

For those who are choosing tiles, rem to double check with the sales if they have diff tones.

I am now stuck with the tiles, luckily my co-ordinator told me that he will get the diff colours one replaced those obvious ones.My kitchen tiles are from Hafary. The one i saw at showroom is beige and after laying them, some are white, and off whites.. :(

next problem is my sink.. renoupdatejuly003.jpg

The super hideous piping.. renoupdatejuly010.jpg My co-ordinator is nice enough to get plumber to redo the piping for me.. exposed plastic elbow..

Shall post more pictures of my painted house and the simple TV feature wall.

Carpentry works are in progress and our veneer bedroom doors are up.

Some pictures to share.

My huge main gate

(No regrets on my decision on fixing a main gate. Its more airy and windy now)

The shoe cabinet by the door

Yes! Now I can buy more shoes.. had requested them to leave some spcae for smell circulation on each shelf as well as at the bottom of the cabinet and a drawer for socks under the settee. There will be lights protruding from the bottom of the shoes cabinet.

Customized TV console and the simple feature wall

We din want to spend $ on feature wall and our co-ordinator suggested a cheaper option for us to mount our TV.

Got a simple box up for the ugly wiring for our wall mounted TV.

Material used and style is the same as our shoes cabinet.

DIY ironing board and cabinet

My dad helped me to do a DIY ironing board structure and we got carpenter to do up a cabinet for it.

Its still in progress, shall be up by this week. This ironing board is really good, you can save space and yet allow us to

iron on both sides (be it you are a leftie or right handed)

ironingboard.jpg

Oo... we also got our bedroom veneer doors installed last weekend. As we are a lazy couple, we opt to choose dark colours for our furnishing. The photos may seem too bright to see the design.

Carpenter is so blur to take wrong measurement for the cabinet door. Not possible to open up the cabinet due to

tight space betwn the cabinet and the toilet bowl :(

Study room wardrobe

The FOC replacement of the wardrobes in study room which was hacked off by mistake by the contractors.

It is still incomplete. There should be handles and silver linings to it.

Look very simple and dull at the moment. Super tall cabinet which I am not sure how I can reach it.

next problem is my sink.. renoupdatejuly003.jpg

The super hideous piping.. renoupdatejuly010.jpg My co-ordinator is nice enough to get plumber to redo the piping for me.. exposed plastic elbow..

Thought you should use a T joint so that can use the hot water.

Also, the plastic should be replace by a silver one to match the pipe.

By the way, must complete your toilet accessory mounting.

Because your wall tile cannot use those suction pad type. So any additional must drill hole.

ooo. the problem is the tap I bought doesnt have the hot water inlet.

The plumber had switched the joint to S/S and its goes straight and direct into the tile. Guess its a case of "no complain, no re-doing".. As for the hot water inlet, they just covered up with a cap for future use. Copper pipe cant be push too into the wall (as wat the plumber claimed, in future will drip water) so they conceal with white paint for the copper pipe.

By the way, is it normal for this kind of S/S tower to be shaky? I am having the problem of having it fixed firmly to the ground though we did screwed onto the floor and tried silicon. They claim my floor tiles are uneven so cant screw too deep will affect the concealed water pipe. Not sure if its the lousy work of plumber, that now my tap is also shaky. :( * shake head.
