Honeygal 1 Report post Posted June 2, 2010 (edited) www.alphaconcepts.com.sg. This rubbish chute is suppose to be air-tight and cockroach proof. Anyone used it before? Is it really better than the regular $180 rubbish chute? Edited June 2, 2010 by Honeygal

Explosion-proof box is really "air-tight" used for oil & gas industry. - Typical saleman ! All rubbish chute covers are cockroach-proof, as long as the gap is small enough ,after closing not allow cockroach to crawl in. Yes i was equally skeptical, but the ATS appears to be a patented system. Not easy to BS on patents rights... But then again they did not put down the patent number! jdf 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2010 One effective way to prevent cockroaches from hanging around your rubbish chute is to pour soapy water eg. after washing dishes to wash it regularly and also spray insecticide around the lid inside - guarantee no cockroach wants to go near your rubbish chute.
