I will be getting my roof re-done and I'm wondering what kind of tiles are best and how much they would cost. How are the tiles priced?

I've received a quote of $40,000 and that includes supplying and installing clay rooftiles, heat insulators and waterproof membrane for whole roof.

This price feels rather expensive, any opinions?
