Recommended Posts

Saw a few furniture shops selling replica of the Kartell Louis Ghost Chair. Does anyone know which shop selling the replica for a cheap price?

actually im a big fan of phillipe starck but d ghost chair can crack..

esp there was a restaurant in cineleisure tt used to hv ghost chair. they got cracks 1..

cant remember it they were kartell or kelong ones.

anyway. tt clear material is not flexible & rigid, so if too heavy person sit on it may break it.

or image u try to rock it w 2 legs.

but i thk kelong manufacturers may save cost buy using lousier materials. so be warn..

the original one won't (at least not as easily).

the reproduction one will. it's pretty to look at, but it's not meant to be rocked. if you have small kids, must bear that in mind.

i have 2 original ghost chairs. they r very very strong and definitely wont crack.

Starck himself is a large man and therefore he will consider the weight limit for the chair when designing.

im 95kg and the chair is v v stable n comfy for me :)

Got this Philippe Starck's Ghost Chair

from an online store

it is cheap and Just the thought represents royal stateliness. The Ghost chair is a complete reinterpretation of the historic classic - with an overt cheeky twist. If wit is educated insolence, this piece is absolute facetious brilliance.

No way,I found the ghost chair to be very interesting.I feel it can be put to some really good use and it can add a glow to our interior. The price is also quite affordable and it is ok for the stuff.Any way that was just a personal view. You can check out for yourself. Here's the link: www.regencyshop.com/p412/Ghost-Chair/product_info.html, and the preview of the chair www.regencyshop.com/images/ghost-chair-2.jpg
