floppy 4 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 (edited) Talis E2 is made in China or Germany ? Thks. You have full receipt in case of defect ? i don't know whether talis e2 is made in china or germany, nor do i find it a concern, given the proliferation of items being made in china these days (e.g. iphone, ipad). the important thing is, as long as it has hansgrohe quality (and quality control) and not cheap knock-offs, i'm happy with the purchase fyi, the items are shipped in direct from germany. Syukur 1 Report post Posted August 13, 2010 Not bad! Hi, Apart from Hansgrohe, I believed its somehow a "Premium" brand, right? So any kind soul, can enlighten me, what other brand is somehow offering reliable product, which can last for years, not overlooking good design as well? jleeml 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Thanks for e reply.. So I can say that to play safe, Hansgrohe is the benchmark for taps n such? hi i bot HG for both my bathrooms and kitchen - cheaper package deal for the common, and raindance and metris for the master. we understand that some of the lower range are made in china (ie, the focus range), but we still bot as the brand in our opinion is reliable, so even if it's made in china, at least QC is there - versus solely china brand and made-in-china. the higher end ones are made in germany (ie, rainshowers) after comparing prices, realise that buying ala carte of china brand for common room - price is about the same as the HG package - so we obviously went for HG. for rainshower - can't compare to china brand, design and technology is so different - the valve, air/water mix flow, materials used. so it wont be a fair comparison. but comparing to say spanish or italian ones we've seen at some jalan besar shops, price is like $700 upwards and $1400 upwards for HG. but we still eventually bot HG.... the tot of using the shower daily n imagine regretting it. so far, very happy with my raindance.... feels like a treat after a long day at work i say - if the price diff is not going to kill u (ie, no need to deprive yourself simple pleasures like nice meals) then go for it! gessi is ooh-lala...... but ahem.... price also very nice....
