strawberry8 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2010 Hi, Can anyone shed some lights into the order of renovation works? Is it in the following order of work? Step 1 – Hacking Step 2 – Wet work Step 3 – Carpentry work Step 4 – Electrical work Step 5 – Air con work Step 6 - Painting Tks
strawberry8 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2010 Carpentry always come in last, because the electrical and air con pipes might affect the furniture which is going to be install. Painting should be done right after the tiling work. Step 1 – Hacking Step 2 – Wet work Step 3 - Painting (part 1) Step 4 – Aircon trucking & electrical wiring Step 5 – Painting (part 2 - paint over trucking of casings) Step 6- Carpentry work Step 7 - putting up lights & aircon blowers Correct ? wolflet 1 Report post Posted July 8, 2010 actually, for my place, the aircon trunkings and floorings are done up simultaneously. the tiler will then cut holes to accomodate the air con pipes
Maitena_Baby 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2010 yes... (at least, according to my understanding...) oh dear how come the air-con sales person never told us that. He just told us to book a date. No wonder when the air-con contractor called and said if the tiles are not up yet, they will not be able to install the air-con piping. haiz...the next appointment date available is only on 28th July. By then my MBR laminated flooring and most of the capentary works would have already been done. shuckz!
