Misc100 2 Report post Posted May 27, 2010 i jus need smeone to install or deliver and provide the rods... anyone knows? hi, i saw some rods (fixed length) - 1.5 metre, 2 metres at Giant. and various lengths at Ikea. I was wondering if I were to buy them, will it be easy to install the rods myself?? Then the curtains I will buy off the shelves ie. non-tailor made - is this what you are thinking too? Misc100 2 Report post Posted May 27, 2010 you can try the guy that did our curtains. He is cheap and realiable and really good. his workmanship is excellent and there isnt anything to complain about. Plus he comes in to give you free quotation and measurement without any obligations. i am satisfied with his work that he did for my house. you can call him at +** or +6016-7373161. look for anthony. i really recommend him. his workers installed curtain rod for u too? if he is from m'sia, r his workers authorized ie got license to install rod in sgp? Newie-X 1 Report post Posted May 28, 2010 I agree with Jing74. I do not think there is a need for license to install curtain rods. Plus its free for them to come and go to do business in Singapore. They only require a work permit aka your license, if they are employed within Sg and by a singaporean employer. hope this clears up your doubt. mmmm...but the curtain maker is from jb...with a m'sian telephone no...and no shop in sgp...like that not consider employ in sg and not a singaporean employer
