Revo + Hdb Upgrade

Recommended Posts

okie .. heres a floorplan of what i want to do

floorplan-1.jpg

actually when i edit in photoshop also nothing much :)

but already giving me headache. anyway there no theme

cos theme = money, we just want clean and cosy and simple, the house is in real mess

let start from

1)The ORANGE kitchen (the orange will be similar to blum corporate color)

All cabinet will come with blum system as well

color combination is as follows:

tiles: grey (i want to huge square tiles)

lower cabinet: orange

solid surface: white

wall: no idea yet (help?)

top cabinet: white with orange strip nearest to the ceiling

surface finish: tbc (matt / glossy)

sink: double bowl

brand: franke / crizto - like those with dustbin / fitting chopping board / soap dispenser

mount: top mount

something i like

http://www.crizto.com/productimg/CKS-1004-SV.jpg

chimney hood + hob from rinnai + build in oven = i think around $2k but still sourcing for cheaper one

sink = $400-$500

basically me and my dad owns the kitchen. so i do what i want

:D

2) toilet - hdb upgrade

currently the washing machine is at the kitchen.

so we want to hack off that wall by about 2ft and move the door inside (dry/wet area)

currently the toilet sink is at the new w.machine location, so we are gg to shift the sink inside the wet area

pls advise

TIA

If you place the TV at that wall, you will be disturbed when people walk from kitchen to bedrooms unless you don't mind.

i will keep this suggestion when it come to my own home .. :D

btw how do u coordinate btw your own reno and hbd upgrading?

cos i have no idea when exactly they are coming. I only remember 2 months back i received a letter about them coming ...

i heard tat both toilet will be wacking at the same time.

then there this temporary toilet in the kitchen... so i think is better let hdb do it first before mine own reno

I do hdb upgrading 1st. They will complete in 10 days but need to give them a few days to rectify defects.

There are temporary toilets installed downstairs too.

hi, my turn to kpo... :P

washer need to connect a water outlet. Its ok if you have a hole at the new washer location.

If not have to connect all the way into the toilet, which is quite unsightly, i.e. have to pass through the door/wall.

For kitchen, i feel that rectangle tiles will make the place look longer, hence bigger.

Big square tiles more suitable for really big areas..

becos i do freelance photography so if i need to set up my product table or backdrop

it gonne be beside the shoe rack as i need length for full body portrait

the divider and tv console is the be mount onto the wall so my backdrop can be laid all the way to opp. wall

ceiling fan cannot be mount center of the living room .. it also got to be mount further to the right

hahaha .. i plan this for a long time
