patsy_sg 1 Report post Posted June 30, 2010 I find rugs "finish" the look of a place, makes it warmer and gives the area a lived in feel.... it also provides you with boundaries for each area without erecting walls. I've been to homes where rugs are used as an accent to highlght the colour theme or to bring out the furniture. You don't really need to vacuum rugs everyday, once a week is fine. Unless you have cats or dogs who shed into the rug. It's also a great "padding" for kids who are learning to crawl/stand/walk!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
