You could check out those small PC shops around your neighbourhood. Sometimes they are quite reasonable and you need not lug your PC all the way to Sim Lim Square.

Btw, usually I get my nephews to do it. Try asking your geeky relatives or friends for help. Treat them dinner afterwards.

i was shock that they charge me $45 even through that i dont have my own lap top windows disk, the shock news that he even reformat my whole computer, he even FOC my the latest anti virses. U can pm me if u want his shop name or his handphone number

when you bought the laptop , does it come with the OS?

I know some brand, the OS is hidden inside the laptop HDD.

Can reformat the HDD directly from there.

Forget what is the detail.

Can check with the laptop company.

therat's right. Some models do provide a native partition where the OS is pre-loaded. A good example would be the Thinkpads that allow you to reformat at the touch of a button. (no, I'm kidding...you'll still select a few options from a boring menu before all the magik happens)

some people like old computers beacouse they dont have that much problems with windows

the new computers hav alot of problems. in singapore people dont have that much money to pay agian and agian.

people want fix in 1 time so next time they dont have to go and get fix. even some of the new computers peoples dont no how to use.
