Dear all,

chanced upon this forum a while back and decided to start posting to share what I experienced when renovating my place. Saw zhiz's posts and learnt a fair bit so thought I will also share with all my experience so that all may benefit.

I have engaged Plus Interior to renovate my 4rm HDB @ amk, 92 sqm. I gave him a budget of 25k and in the end, I am doing it for 29k. The b/m states what I am doing for the house:

- hack 1 wall betw master br and 2nd br

- laminate flooring for 3 br

- redo kitchen and 2 toilets (everything)

- feature wall for storeroom cos the current facade looks too yucks.

excludes doors/windows/gate, rewiring, plastering, plumbling, all furnishings

Not sure if ex, but think after a while, price comparism betw the ID firms becomes meaningless cos workmanship and relationship with ID is more impt. Here is wishing me a pleasant renovation experience as I am starting it next Mon.

suggest u start a thread in the T blogs folder. then u have to sign up to a image hosting site like imageshack/photobucket to upload your photos and link them here
