ngunadi 2 Report post Posted April 29, 2010 Frankly, never heard of Imperial brand, is it locally made? If it is, i think it's inferior to corian. I know the best is corian, 2nd best is LG. I choose LG because there's not much difference between corian and LG, specially in terms of the shine. While the other brand, might have significant difference. hi all when we told contractor to do corian surface top for us, he suggested Imperial. Its the price and the material used is different. Imperial (TUV certified) beside solid surface, also have wall paper, etc...and its been in the market for a long time. Both brand material are not locally made, but was fabricate and install by their own installer here. Corian, LG, Samsung, Gloria, 3S, Imperial, Montella, etc.....so many brands in the market....in chinese there always a saying..."u pay 1 cent, u get 1 cent of goods"....Know their pros and cons and maybe u can decide on what u want to use. The ID maybe trying to save some money for the owner as the owner may have budget constraint.

As I had written in other forum and its quite long so don't intend to write it here. Edited May 20, 2010 by jaskel
