I just posted what u asked in my t-blog yesterday. I have seen something like that before but not sure whether is it just magnetic sheet or something stronger.

I found a company that does the magnetic sheet... They told me that the magnetic overlap with glass will not have such a strong power to grip things... unless u used some magnetic block and have the glass backing mount onto it...

Many possibilities. Paste ur magnets on the backsplash, or using a magnet, u can paste ur receipe on the backsplash for referencing while cooking, etc..
