blueocean 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2010 I was looking at your lighting plans. There are only 2 lights in the kitchen ? I have 2 x double 18W in my kitchen and mine kitchen is small than yours, and i find it quite dim already. Are you adding fluorescent lights over the counter top ? You got a huge fridge ! Your living room looks classy. Is that a storage TV cabinet or a feature wall where the TV is ? Here's our revised 3D design..

HI blueocean.. thats only a feature wall for the tv.. we covered all the wall and made a lil divider towards the kitchen to cover the fridge area.. our kitchen is the open concept type.. we'd actually wished for a storage area but due to space constraints, we have to forgo the idea.. As for the lighting's.. there's no lights at the counter top.. i hope there's the kitchen wont be too dim after we've install the lighting's..
blueocean 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2010 Oh ok ... You could consider countertop lights cos if you are cooking in the evenings ... it will get dim and the top hung cabinets will usually block the light out and cause shadows. I forgot to add lights to my sink area ... and its a bit dim in the evenings. Have you purchased all your toilet accessories alreadie ? I remember having to buy the S/S towel rack, rack to put liquid soap/shampoo etc and to figure out where to put them and at what height. Can also consider those grab holders if you have elderly persons visiting your unit or if staying with parents - helpful to prevent falling ... blueocean 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2010 I got them from IMM - that big shop that sells lots of accessories. I think it is called Hoe Kee. In the initial design features, some people think of whether the cabinets or furniture will prevent wheelchair access in the future ... but that is only if you have parents around. we've only bought part of the accessories such like basin, faucet and W/c at hoekee .. sorry no pics available.., more to come and yep i need 2 set of those S/S towel rack.. talking about those grab holders.. where can i get them and do u have any idea how much they cost.. it'll be a good idea to place them in the common toilet.. I went to Hoe Kee at TKC. I assumed the one in IMM is bigger? Will drop by one of this day.. Thanks!
