Hi Gal_mama its at Hougang ave 8, The MBR and the common toilet are of the same size, but when measure, i dont think the shower screen can fits in. sazeryn 5 Report post Posted April 26, 2010 Me too, also tot of that. But i already taken away the common toilet sink. Was thinking of bringing out the sink to MBR than can have a screen in the toilet. But subject to HDB approval. I have a pic taken off a property webpg. The sink is outside. But i would want to put a screen bet the shower and toilet bowl. Thats what my ID proposed!!!! But on second thought, I dont want the MBR to look smaller.. as we're already making part of the room to create a storeroom.. am trying to cut down cost too.. Btw, where's yr new hm going to be? Have u choose yr contractor / ID? See, the floor plan.. the original store room had already been hacked down by the previous owner..

gals_mama 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2010 My new place will be in AMK ave 4. Oh... I get what u mean for the store rm. Hw abt put back at the original place? 1 of the ID i approached, suggested taking away the store rm and build wider cabinets towards the end of the kitchen to put store rm stuff like vacuum cleaner. ID said that anyway store rm normally cluttered and cant walk in so waste space. But we not comfortable without it, thou now my store rm is like open, throw things in and close the door. We are getting our keys in late Jun so now is sourcing for ID/ contractor. Hw much is ur reno quote?

The kitchen is too small.. i was thinking of making the previous store room location as the dining area so that the living rm will remain spacious.. My total reno will cost us about SGD31K++ .. haiz.. but i really like their services the best after going after 4 ID/COntractor while asking for qoutations.. and my husband doesnt wish to source out further.. Anyway, since we've taken the unit key.. its time consuming if we still want to delay to go around asking for further qoutes..
gimz63251073 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2010 hmm...not a very good idea to have sink in the room itself. If you have the tendency to splash water when washing, the flooring would get wet. And the floor may get slippery if u are using tiles. If u use wooden flooring, then the floor may be damaged. Unless u put a huge rug there?

Unless u put a huge rug there? yep.. putting a rug is a good idea.. but then must change regularly.. if the rug were wet for a long time.. am sure there'll be a "wet towel" smells..
