Need Advice For Terrazzo Flooring

i have purchased a 27 years old 3A HDB flat, the floor is terrazzo from the first owner, i like the floor very much because it is very old style, it reminds me my teenager time... however, my contractor said we may need to hack them off because it is too old, almost 27 years old.

need advice:

1. what is the market price for hacking floor for living room + 2 toilet + kitchen?

2. if hacking is a must for living room, where I buy the old style terrazzo tiles?

3. should i approach supplier directly or get contractor to do it?

4. cost of re-wire for the whole unit?

Thot terrazzo can polish like marble polishing. will look like marble after that.
