secret storage, nice. the dream bookshelf i wanted was those french/country type with a movable ladder (w wheels!), its been a dream since i first saw it in a cartoon when i was young. haha. since u staying in landed, u can consider those underground bunker like the bomb shelter at the beginning of The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe.

wahh, ur family must be fast readers! my hubby say i read too fast, the last book of harry potter, i refused to put it down for more than a minute, finished it in 5 hours. haha.

haha...u me same same..my mum always say i read books till i "zou huo ru mo" cos once i start reading, I dun stop until i finish. I can finish one like also with 5 - 6 hours. and when i start, ppl call me i aso dunno. now not like that liao, i try to read slower...old liao

aiya neo dun be stingy...anyway giraffe stays miles away from u....diff frens also so dun nd to worry seeing duplicate...but saying this...most ppl hv similar or even same furniture... mine already EXACTLY same as infinite. ahahahaha....

anyway, i aso saw it when i went the place yesterday. looks good, colleague was also saying how nice it is....

I love big and tall bookshelf with ladder too! Saw one double storey bookshelf with movable ladder in Home and Deco magazine some time again - Gorgeous! (can still visualize it)

Underground bunker is an excellent idea. Not only can hide all our junk, can also hide from my kids..hee..hee

That scenario at the book fair is just an exaggeration lah. You sure are one speed reader. The last time I did a marathon reading session was a few years ago reading Dan Brown's Angels and demon. Cant afford that luxury nowadays.

As a testament to your exquisite taste, I saw a couple with a little girl buying THAT sofa this afternoon. (NOT kidding)

Wanted to congratulate them on their excellent choice : "hi mdm/sir, congratulations! You are the 17356 person buying this sofa" (kidding)....Hee,hee

Btw I did not buy the sofa lah (serious), was just pulling your leg. Not getting the following appliances also

Will copy cat Titanax instead, going for solid German firewood and leak proof WM.

Went to the Lifestorey warehouse sale, yes, AGAIN. Suppose to buy 3 rugs for living, family and Master bedroom but only managed to buy one greyish rug. The another one was sold out . Sigh...that's the problem with being too cautious. Wish i was more impulsive.....sigh again.

The Great Singapore Shower

Never expected the flood that cost much damage to orchard road has descended right at the doorstep of my new house. Was told by the worker who was staying in the new house that the master bedroom and family hall was flooded cos we have not installed windows yet. The secret storage space at the window of master bedroom became a mini swimming pool. He spent some time emptying the trough. Now i am worried about my "Al fresco" toilet if the Great Singapore Shower is going to be a permanent event in Singapore. Hang on, actually it might be a good thing. We could multi-task, we could have a rain shower while pooing. Yippee

oooohh, which were the ones sold out. I was also worried abt selling out cos when I first went on Thurs, the lady told me some were running fast. So I insisted hubby to make time on Friday to go make decision. wanted either a greyish or beige brown one but hubby decided on the beige brown one....oh well..

My friend going today...hope he can still get wat he want. he needs 5!!!

hv u read his latest? I bought it and finished it like within 8 hrs combined (have to divide to a couple of days cos of kid commitment ) but the feeling is tat i dun even wan to put down the book when i start!!! colleagues were surprised i stayed in office for lunch jus to read a book!

Actually have a dam (long kang) around the house now. Will ask my son's scout leaders to build a drawbridge to save cost. Now we just need to find Breehy Hinny Brinny Hoohy Hah or any thoroughbred that is white. Any idea where to get?
