serene85 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2010 Oooo.. im arranging for window contractor to come down on Monday noon too, for change & install new 'locks' for the window grills.. the current ones have abit of problem locking, some of them had rusted & the key can't turn.. since living in a low-floor unit now.. think it's better to change the locks.. serene85 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2010 We've officially moved & shifted into the new house last Sunday - 25 April Past few days have been kept very busy unpacking. New sanitary wares are up, roller blinds up, windows/grills locks changed! Uplifting of carpentry today & tomorrow, all the built-in wardrobes, tv consoles & feature wall will be up.. I gave him ideas of what i wanted, he drew up the 2d drawings & upon confirmation of design/colors, he got his workers to do up all the carpentry works. no major renos, we only did carpentry works;- feature wall + suspended tv console (living room) built-in wardrobes (all 3 bedrooms) suspended tv console (MBR) suspended L-shape study table (bedroom 1) built-in headboard w/ dresser (bedroom 2) other misc stuffs;- whole unit repainting add new/shift electrical points, additional tv points & tel sockets changed new sanitary wares changed new door locks & new door stoppers (gate, main door & 3 bedrooms doors) COV is 28K. For MBR & Bedroom 2 For Kitchen x 2 Roller blinds x 3 bedrooms (thicker, blackout whole bedroom even in daylight) Living room has the standard, thinner material that has abit of see-through, will post pic later. serene85 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2010 (edited) yippeeeeeeee! my carpentry works will be completed today!! final measurement : 20 April completion of carpentry works @ home : 30 April 10 days!! amazinggggggggg! really salute my contractor & his worker for working so hard & doing OT to rush out this project for us! Feature wall w/ suspended tv console up! Built in headboard w/ dresser table for bedroom 2 Suspended TV Console for MBR L-shape suspended console for bedroom 1 (my room!)
