If I remember correctly, in 2005, ROC announced a rule applicable to all GST registered companies to state their GST registration number in their official letterhead or footnote. That is to say it is "illegal" if company with GST registration, yet did not show GST registration number in official correspondence.

Company with yearly revenue turnover > $1mil then can apply for GST Reg. Already lost touch, old already, not sure if this amount has been decreased or increased?
