External Iron Grilles Hinges

hiya, jus wana check whether anyone changed their main door iron door grilles hinges recently?

Was being "up-sell" by a man knocking on my door to change the hinges. Well, story sounds convincing enough for me to fork out $140 for changing 4 hinges.

Thinking back not sure whether this is the market price? Duno kana "Ko Tot" or not?

Anyone got similar trades?

It use to be $10/- per hinge.

I did not add hinges but got the existing hinges tack weld.

Regretted doing so, the existing hinges are strong enough, there's no need any additional or replacement.

Looks like the price I paid are on the higher end.. guess its always easier to sell on safety issues...
