Anyone Here Engaged Id But Used Ur Own Electrician, Carpenter Etc Instead Of Those By The Id?

Hi,

I am a first timer in house renovations so I would like to engage an ID to provide advice, designs, project management svc etc. However, i have my own carpenter, plumber, electrician. So i m thinking of engaging an ID and yet use my own carpenter, plumber etc but i would still need the ID to oversee the whole progress and liaise with my carpenter etc.

Is this possible? In that case, how is the ID gg to quote me? Anyone here who has the same situation as me?
