titanax 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2010 Sealant applied for the kitchen walls. Electrical wiring was also laid first. @ jaskel: Interesting, how the wall is extended to cover the pipes...nice Is it gypsum partition? If for some reason, the pipe need to be serviced can it be still accessed easily or do you need to cut the partition?

If for some reason, the pipe need to be serviced can it be still accessed easily or do you need to cut the partition? Hi titanax, the extended wall on the pic is a hollow block wall, as the dryer is wall mounted on it, worry that if used gypsum partition, it may not have the strength to support the weight especially when the dryer is turn on, the vibration will sooner or later damaged the gypsum and by that time is a big big problem as the cabinet is up. If needed to serviced the piping, one of the ways is the wall need to cut and then build back after they serviced the piping, another way is thru the top cabinet, dismantle the box up and do it. Ok thanks, chances are very slim you need to service those pipes anyways. Hmm top floor unit got those pipes or not...I can't recall

jeffcraze 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2010 Today was spent on packing, sorting and throwing the stuffs at my parents' house. Almost done, except for my wardrobe and books.. Wardrobe shd be doing next week and books prob after we shifted as the boxes are blocking my bookshelves le.. Didn't realised I have accumulated so much bags and clothes over the years, until we threw out 3 bags of cannot use items and set aside another 3 bags for still in relatively good condition items for donating to the Salvation Army. So tiring and so much dust, till I keep sneezing non-stop.. Think now dunno is sick or nose allergy acting up..

I can relate to that, I dread packing our stuff too but need to start doing it soon and put it in storage while we crash at our parents for the next few months. Its also a good time to do a massive spring cleaning too - I told the missus "if you have not used it in the last 6 mths, you don't need it" (easier said than done tho )
