Our Love Nest In Simei

Hmm.. if L-box etc no apply sealant, what would happen? Peeling?

Mine is the normal white paint.. All the ceiling is the same white paint loh. would start peeling over long period of time?

If in future, i choose Moldguard to repaint my toilet ceiling, just paint on?

My contractor told me that false ceilings need sealant, base coat and at least 2 coats of paints. I asked as he charged me pretty high for painting. :(

Then u better make sure he used sealant, base coat and 2 coats of paints...don't add water into the base coat, sealant or even the paints.

It won't peel, but may give a chalky surface.

In future to use Moldguard, its depend. If already got mold attack, then no point using it, cos it will still have yellow stain when after paint over.

tks for info. hopefully your price wun change much if i am doing my reno in future.... :D

As long as material price and labour cost not increasing, I'm don't think I'll change much. But after 1st July, all foreign work permit is increasing cost so think the price for labour is increasing also.

The reason asking u to make sure is becos, he charge u high price for that by stating he using all those (just see the amount of paint tins he provided if u r unable to see the painters working).

hi Jaskel, do we paint before doing electrical rewiring or after that? If we paint after doing electrical rewiring then it will not be so nice if the painter accidentally paint the cable casing right? So better to do before electrical rewiring?

Paint after electrical...so that the painter can paint the casing and at least make it less obvious. And if to paint before electrical, then make dirty the wall who going to paint it for u?
