purecat 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2010 (edited) Sorry, I do not have a pix. Was recommended this by an ID - that it will go very well with teh black granite top that i wanted., plus easy to clean. Assuming if crystals were made in glass. glass would be easier to clean than laminate cabinets. but if all uses crystal or glass, your cabinet will be very expensive. If can afford then go for it ! Crystal itself sounds pretty ! I attended a health talk organised by the hospital and they explained that we have " oily , sticky " stains on cabinets mainly due to the kind of cooking oil we use. The "healthier kind " Canola, sunflower , etc ( those that fried food dont stay crispy for long after using this oil to fry them ) , will be the reason for the " stickiness" . Hence the traditional type ( which is also unhealthy ) which is more ideal for frying food will not result in stains that is harder to remove. Hence another way is to change the cooking oil or do less deep frying. Then you will have less worry on cleaning ? I am not certain if i should recommend here ( so use at your own risk )... but we use a brand call " WAN JIE LING " ( or Magic Clean - i think ) , the kitchen stain remover works well on laminate or veneer cabinets .
