Low Water Pressure, A Restriction?

Recommended Posts

recently moved into a terrace house. felt the water pressure is a tad on the low side. wanted my contractor to up it a little more, but he said there is some "govt" restriction on water flow per cubic per house. if exceed will get fine.

is that for real?? where can i read more about this weird ruling?

HDB sent a contractor to my flat yesterday after I called in regarding low water pressure.

The contractor checked and turn on 3 of my taps to let iwater run on the same time.

He said these speed is aceptable as recently HDB has installed something like damper to restrict water usage.

Terrace house = Private house?

Should have own break tank (contain water) and water booster system (pumps) for water usage..... ;)

Maybe get the service ppl to adjust the pressure switch. Hope this helps..
