Supersimon27 2 Report post Posted October 27, 2009 it's supposed to look like this (this is our neighbour's gate, opening is different direction, so their lock is installed "upside-down". nobody's right or wrong, i just dunno how to describe it properly la, but u get the idea... probably needs to be "hammered in". qinzheng80 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2009 eh simon... did u have any problem with fitting the 1/2 piece of it into the grille? my !@#$%^ lock couldn't fit - my ID will get someone to help us "hammer" it in. by right it shoudl fit, cos' i saw 2 of my neighbours have the same thing. can i suggest we can have a gathering for those staying at the same block, whaha... takomi 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2009 DURO lock problem... the top and bottom "arms" are too near, i.e. the gap is not big enough, therefore it is VERY difficult to slot in the entire lock. read from somewhere in this forum that the gap is smaller than the thickness of the gate by 1mm.. !@#%$% I think the lock come with different size according to the contractor who installed my gate.
