bepgof 20 Report post Posted April 3, 2010 (edited) Can anyone differentiate Feng Shui from Bazi, palm reading, fortune telling, tao practices? Edited April 3, 2010 by bepgof
Coolwater 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2010 Hi, Just to be simple... Fengshui is talking about environment that we are living in (eg your house, office etc). It is focusing on Landform and Timeliness. Of course there are other techniques that don't depend on Landform and Timeliness. In short, Fengshui is focusing on the qi in the environment whether in favour or otherwise for the dwellers. Bazi and palm reading can used to predict one's future (what's going to happen or what had happened). Of course Fengshui can be used to predict as well (eg. 玄空飞星 or flying stars fengshui) by looking at the house chart. Some very good FSM can know who is sick in the house once they see the house chart. This is a form of prediction. Most of the time, one can change his/her house and office Fengshui but not Bazi because Bazi is cast and stone when one is born. I have come across some saying that one's Bazi can be changed by performing some rituals but not sure whether it is true/work. A point to note is that not all fengshui situations can be solved. Otherwise, there is no bad fengshui in this world. To me, at best, FSM can assist to remedy area with bad qi so that the negative impact/effect will be reduced. Sorry... No comment on Tao practice.
