Relako 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 Hi Has anyone tried the Floor Laminate from IKEA before ? Any good ? How do you deal with rooms that are odd-shaped with these DIY laminate strips ? Thank you for your opinions.

Would you mind telling me how much you spent on it and how you like the finished product ? I am considering using laminate for my rooms. How about the colours ? Did you choose light-coloured laminates or dark ones ? Thanks again.

Thanks again. no prob..i went laminate for room only as (1) cheaper than tiles and (2) gives the room a more "warm" effect. and no worries abt the tile and laminate distinction in ur house as it looks fine and many pple do so. mine so far ok...coming 1 yr since installed. as for cost i cant quite rem but it was quite cheap like less than $3psf and abt 1.2k for 3 bedrooms. nowadays they come w waterproof function. the choice of colours are def more than ikea and i went w dark colour. but it really depends on ur room scheme.
